You can help support the mission of Break the Silence against Domestic Violence by planning a local community event in your hometown. By partnering with us, you will have the opportunity to tap into your passion for advocacy and philanthropy alongside other Ambassadors.
By hosting an event in your city you are not only contributing to the funding needed to provide programs & services for victims and survivors within BTS but you’re raising awareness in your local community and inspiring everyone around you to care about the same CAUSE you do. You’re also exemplifying what a hero truly is. We know how special it is to give back and we honestly can’t thank you enough.
How to get started:
Step 1: Brainstorm and map out all of the fine details for your special event. Whether you’re hosting a Sister meet-up or a fun paint and wine night for your local community, we would love to hear all of your ideas so we can best assist you. TIP: Rally 5-10 local survivors to join your planning committee. Our motto is: “If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together.”

Host a Bake Sale, Jewelry Sale, Art or Photo Gallery, Silent Auction, Cocktail Hour or anything under the sun that you may enjoy. Examples of events that have been held on behalf of BTSADV are Walks, concerts, luncheons, Vagina Monologue Performances or even a game night. Most importantly, pick something you like to do and you can find a way to raise funds!
Before starting your event, please read our Third Party Guidelines. After you read through these guidelines, complete this Host an Event Form and submit it to BTSADV. This form helps us track events and assist as your event is being planned.
