Losing someone you love is difficult and when you add violence to the loss it makes it even more so. Break the Silence against Domestic Violence honors our angels by shining a light on their memory and their story. It is our honor to memorialize our angels because they are a big part in why we are driven to create the largest impact possible. It is our angels who also remind us to break our silence because we are survivors. We speak for them and we want to hear your angels story.
Jill was a beautiful young mother, fiance, daughter, friend, sister and aunt who was tragically taken from us June 28th, 2017. She will be remembered as someone that always reached out to lend a helping hand, a hug and a smile. Jill had a soft spot for her two dogs, Harley and Wrigley. Goodbye’s hurt the most when the story isn’t finished, and Jill still had many more chapters to fill.
On June 28, 2017, our loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, best friend, and soul mate was taken from us by a horrific, jealous hate crime. Jill Lloyd was born May 14, 1981, to Paula Jones and Thomas Lloyd in Payson, Utah. After graduating from Spanish Fork High School in 1999, she attended classes at UVU, SLCC, and Utah School of Phlebotomy.
Jill’s proudest achievement was when she gave birth to her precious baby boy, Trayce Austin. She loved being a mother and worked hard to keep her family happy.
For the past two years, she worked for Utah RV Rentals and was extremely excited to have started a new job as a personal assistant for a 3-D design company in Cottonwood Heights. She loved all animals, especially her two dogs, Harley and Wrigley, and volunteered much of her time with the Humane Society. She enjoyed attending various sporting events with her family, and shopping was a favorite pastime; she always kept an eye out for good deals!
Jill had a strong standing belief in a higher power as a Christian woman. The last line of every prayer was to “Help all those that need thy helping hand.” According to Jill, life is what you make of it; are you going to get out and get it or watch it from the sidelines?
She is survived by Trayce Austin (son); Paula and Dave Densley (parents); Macey (Landon), Kiersten (T.K.), and Drew (siblings); Gabby, Britton, Beckham (niece and nephews). She is preceded in death by all of her grandparents, her father, Thomas Lloyd; her brother, Austin Lloyd; and nephew, Kaige Beckstrom.
